Jiangsu Wuxi Taihu Cocoa Food Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter to be referred as Taihu Cocoa) is a well-established cocoa company with more than 50-year history, which is the first one to start cocoa beans processing in China since 1963. It used to be a state-owned company named Wuxi Huaxin Cocoa Food Co., Ltd. In 2005, Shanghai Golden Monkey Group, one of the leading chocolate manufacturers in China, acquired it from government and established the factory with the name Shanghai Golden Monkey Group Wuxi Cocoa Products Co., Ltd as an independent subsidiary. In 2015, Shanghai Golden Monkey Group was acquired by the American chocolate maker Hershey’s. In 2016, the company name was changed to Jiangsu Wuxi Taihu Cocoa Food Co., Ltd. in order to speed up the company transformation. Taihu Cocoa’s activities mainly focus on the production and sales of cocoa products as cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, cocoa cake and cocoa powder. For company qualifications, we have acquired certificates including ISO9001:2008 Certificate, ISO22000:2005 Certificate (based on HACCP), Kosher Certificate and Halal Certificate. Our processing capacity is 40,000 metric tons of cocoa beans yearly. The raw materials are from Ghana, Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire, which are the largest and best cocoa beans origins in West Africa. We set up one cocoa processing factory in Nigeria to assure our sourcing and raw material quality. The company is able to supply a full range of cocoa products. Our products have been exported to Europe, America, Latin America, and other Asian countries.
